Separators and degassers

Separators and degassers protect boilers, heat exchangers, cooling systems, pumps and fittings from sludge deposits and help release free gas particles and oils from the circuits.


How it works:
Separators and degassers separate solid and gas particles from the liquid, provided that tangential entry and higher entry speed are ensured. Separation of particles takes place in a cylindrical vessel as a result of centrifugal force and different densities of particles/ impurities and the flowing liquid. Impurities then fall from the cylindrical vessel to the bottom part of the device where they cyclically disappear. A degassing valve is placed in the upper part of the device which is automatically releasing gas from the liquid. Standard parts of the vessel are a ball tap and companion flange to drain the sludge. Automatic draining of the sludge is not a standard part of the device but can be supplied extra.

Torus- hydraulic equalizer of pressure

Use:
Torus is a hydraulic equalizer of pressures that uses hydraulics to separate boiler circuit from the consumption circuit- i.e. from the heating circuit, heating of non-potable water used in households, ventilation systems or system supplying heat for technology. Hydraulic equalizer of pressures hydraulically separates dynamic pressure forces that originate in the circulators of individual circuits. It is designed for an operational pressure ranging from 0.6 to 1.6 MPa and temperature up to 100°C.


How it works:
In a steady state, hot water from the boiler flows to the upper part of the equalizer and through opposite nozzle directly to the system. Cold water used in the system comes back to the bottom part of the equalizer and subsequently flows to the return branch of the boiler circuit. In the equalizer itself (between the two nozzles) the temperature gradient of individual layers of the water, that is practically motionless, is equally spread. In a non-steady state when the pressure stability in the boiler circuit or in the system is breached, the temperature gradients in the water are no longer equal in the equalizer itself. The degassing valve can be found in the upper part of the equalizer and a ball tap for sludge drainage is located in the bottom part of the device.


Service and maintenance of the device
The cyclical sludge must be regularly removed from the hydraulic equalizer of pressure. It is also necessary to regularly check if the joints are still waterproof and degassing valve still works properly.
